They've killed all of our Koalas

"Australia should be ashamed of this"

This video shows an Australian woman named Helen Oakley, who expose, the awful massacre of Koalas succeded in a timber plantation in the state of Victoria (Australia).

The video explain how a lot of they died starved, for the harvest of blue gum in they habitat, and how others were apparently killed by bulldozers, who destroyed 140 acres of they habitat. Of the 120 koalas survivors, 25 have been euthanased because of the seriousness of his injuries.

The women shows her indignation with her goverment "but nobody has done anything", she claim in tears, showing all the destruction made it for the bulldozers.

Now is your turn to opine, Do you agree with this post? What do you think about the poor government attention about this? How do you think this could be resolved?

This is terrible. I consider that the coalas would have to be much more protected since it is an autochthonous animal from Australia and if they are not protected they will end up disappearing. Many animals have already died in fires recently in Australia. We protect all animals!

In my opinion, in which I totally agree, I think that human beings only think of ourselves. The government should be tougher on these issues and make strong statements. They should close green areas to protect them. We charge their houses for our own benefits. We should change our way of living without harming the defenseless.

Hello!

Actually this theme is really unknown, many people though that koalas have only died in the fires that last 3 months on Australia, but, this should be real warning. Koalas are already about to extingish but no one cares.

I think that the governement should do more things to protect the animals, plants and all the enviroment in Australia, but if they do not do anythig, people should act to protect their home, which is really rich and diverse.

Anyway, I'm so glad that you are talking about it.
