What are we going to do? This have to end!

Climate change have to stop. If we do not do any thing about it the Antarctic Peninsula might disappear.

"Antarctica has exceeded 20C for the first time, after researchers logged a temperature of 20.75C on an island off the coast of the peninsula."

Explains the BBC News.

The past 9th of February the ice continent hit the record with a temperature of 18.3C, which is quite warm for one of the coolest months of the year. Even though, last July was recored the temperature of 21C that made a new record in the Antarctic Peninsula.

But, how fast is this warming happening?

Actually, temperatures on the Antarctic Peninsula have risen by almost 3C over the past 50 years, and, in fact, nearly the 87% of the glaciers along its west coast have almost disappeared.

And, according to the UN's World Meteorological Organization (WMO), last month was also Antarctica's warmest January on record.

What do you think about this theme? And, what do you think about climate change? Are you concerned about it? What are you going to do to try to help it?

Thanks for reading! I hope you had enjoyed this little article! See you in the next one!
